After Rebecca Riley commented that Rachel was an orphan, Rachel told her that Hank Galliston had picked her up and given her a job and a place to live.

Rachel retrieved the journal from Beck and told Beck Hank's plans. Rachel later tracked down the fact that Wayne Blanks might have information about Project Zero Hour. She suggested to Hank that Sri Trailanga might be New Thomas.

Rachel was distraught first because others were treating Laila poorly without enough information. Later, when she came to accept that Laila was truly an imposter, she needed her friend Arron Martin and he was spending time with Paige Willis. Arron apologized and he and Rachel grew closer. Together, they went to interview Melanie Lynch of The 41 Trust about the Santa Marta Clinic.

"Winding"Edit

Rachel suggested to Beck Riley that there might be a leak in the Federal Bureau of Investigation, pointing out that the Shepherds were ready for the FBI raid on the country home. She and Arron later talked about being each other's protector. When Arron tried to express his affection and stumbled, she kindly told him to quit while he was ahead. Hank Galliston told her to look after Arron.
